I tried editing the template and it worked. But when you do edit it, you have to:

1) hit apple-save
2) restart the server

Hint: make notes as to your modifications and keep them in a safe place if you have to rebuild MAMP PRO; it'll save you time.

I love this idea. I'm not especially tech-savvy, have lots of stuff going on at once, and, like most very busy people, have the short-term memory of a lobotomised goldfish. The concept of having everything visibly prioritised, rather than just in endless Outlook task lists, sounds utterly wonderful. Do it. Do it for me!!!

For implementing GTD you can use this web-based application:

http://www.Gtdagenda.com

You can use it to manage your goals, projects and tasks, set next actions and contexts, use checklists, schedules and a calendar.
A mobile version and iCal are available too.

I like the idea. The unimportant things getting burried reminds me of the 'last acced to the front' style of filing I've heard of in Japan. It seems to work very well.

Three dimensions would give more room to better organize contexts (<a href="http://redcatco.com/blog/productivity/want-to-get-more-things-done-go-ahead-and-stick-your-head-in-a-bucket/" rel="nofollow">a la GTD contexts</a>). I wonder if Wiimotes and the like might provide affordable tools to interact with a 3d environment? To do lists might finally be fun! :)

Isn't the consumer smartphone of the future more likely to be the Android? At least the first reference design has a keyboard. Bring back the Psion Series 5 - that's what I say!

I have an ipod Touch and wouldn't dream of using it for text-intensive apps even though I have thin fingers.

I have encountered this recruiter technique recently and it is infuriating when they cant accept that this is not the way to get a good company/candidate match.

On a number of occassions, I have heard the phrase "I can ask around and raise awareness and sell your CV, in order to generate some buzz and interest in you as a potential candidate".

Not to mention that there is not an actual role available and they are just testing the waters based on their supposed 'good relationship' with the company.

Seemingly, the 'old way' of sending the candidate the job spec for a specific job (so that the candidate can review the role and the company in order to determine if there is a potential fit) and then forwarding the CV for that specific role is just a 'numbers game'.

Maybe it is just me, but I prefer the 'numbers' game.
